Content Customs Writers At Content Customs we have writers we look for a few different things. Overall, we are looking for writers that are obviously good at what they do, but also are reliable and excited to become part of our team.

- Bachelor's Degree (preference given to degrees related to English)
- Min. of 2 years experience as a writer
- Willing to give us all rights to all work they produce for our clients
- Professional Portfolio
- Must be able to reach tight deadlines
- Easy to communicate with

Tips on Applying
Consider building a writing portfolio before applying by starting a blog or obtaining part time work from a freelance writer forum.
Preference is always given to full time writers (at least 40, 500 word articles per week) when applications are considered.
Be honest on your resume as we do check them. A solid portfolio can outweigh a lack of some of the basic educational or experience requirements.
Include a mission statement in your resume outlining what you wish to accomplish as a writer with us. Are you looking to turn writing into a career? Would you be open to copyediting or management positions in the future?
Avoid sending school essays as writing samples. Try to find samples that would function the best on the Internet. If you do not have enough samples to send us three, consider writing a few from scratch. If you are not accepted, you may still be able to use your fresh sample content on a personal blog or sell it elsewhere
