The Content Customs Process

Of course, if you are going to let us take care of your content for you—you probably want to know what will happen and how we handle the process.

Our goal is to give you exactly what you want without you having to do it yourself. The reason why we call ourselves Content Customs is because we create custom content to fit your needs. It doesn’t matter what you want, we are willing to do it. That causes for a fairly extensive process to take place in order to get everything right.

Put in the Order

The first thing you will need to do is put in your order. This is how we will get all of your general information along with a good idea of what you are looking for. After that, we will immediately contact you about your project.

We will contact you either via email or instant messenger. At this point, we will get every detail that we possibly can about your project. When we are finished talking with you, we should know what you need as much as or even more than you know yourself. Once we are on the same page we will begin preparing for the project.

Before the Project Starts

Before the project starts and after we have gotten all the details; we will set up a plan for your project. The plan will be an outline of how we are going to do your project, and when it will be completed. For bigger projects, we will set milestones and different dates for you to receive portions of your content, so that you can see what is happening.

Once we have an agreement, and we get on the same page we will get a very accurate price for the work. Unless you are set on the word count, it will be hard to tell for sure. We will then send you an invoice (before the project starts) for 50% of the estimated project cost. Once it is paid, we will begin the project.

Starting the Project

At the start of the project, we will be sending you a small portion of the start of the project. This is how we double check and be sure that we are doing exactly what you are looking for. You will have the opportunity to see what we are doing, and make sure that we are on the right track. If you want something changed, such as the format or the style—we will make sure we take care of it. We will then send you another portion of the work for you to see once again.

Completion of the Project

Once both parties are sure that the work is being done the right way and exactly how you want it, we will really get into the project. Once it is completed we will send the completed project via a locked .PDF file. At this point all you will be able to do is read the content and make sure that you are getting the highest quality. Once you agree on the work and are happy, you will be responsible for paying the other 50% for the project. You will then get all of your content in the form of a Microsoft Word .DOC document, unless you request something other than that.

Copyright Agreement

You will also be emailed an agreement that is signed by Content Customs LLC, that will give you all rights to the content that was produced. The signed contract will give you all rights to the content and will insure that the content is 100% original and will never be used elsewhere or sold to anyone else. At this point the content belongs to you, and only you.
